In this article, a trial study was performed for melatonin sleep intervention in 25 healthcare participants working night shifts to determine if it is a safe and feasible intervention for performing a larger study. Results of the trial design were promising enough to be feasible and safe for a larger definitive study. These results include improved concentration and attention in the double digit task during melatonin administration.
